Burnsyde Beach House: The House

I've found the most perfect house for you all to escape to...

The other weekend we went on a little getaway to Burnsyde Beach House. We loaded the car up with loads of goodies (food and wine) and headed off to Saltburn-be-Sea on the North East coast.

And what a destination!

Burnsyde is a luxury beach house and self-catering accommodation. It sleeps up to six people and is also dog friendly if you've got a little woofy friend. There's three bedrooms and two bathrooms, so plenty of room! There's also a beautiful open plan kitchen-dining-sunroom space to relax in, as well as a gorgeous lounge to cosy up in.

As soon as you open the door and turn the corner you're confronted with the most breath-taking view - I mean look at it! I literally stopped in my tracks and gasped! I love the way the wall slopes around the cliffs framing the stunning view of the shoreline.

First impressions - fabulous!

The house has recently been completely renovated and refurbished into the most stylish beach getaway. The decor is just stunning. It's like walking into a pinterest board. Every last details has been carefully thought out from the scented candles in each room to the copper light shades. It's just so chic and tasteful with an almost scandi feel to it. It's just so beautiful, I walked round for the first half hour just mouthing 'wow'.

Every room is really bright and welcoming with natural and calming colours. I mean I just can't even get across to you how dreamy the interiors are. All the rooms flow into each other and fit together perfectly.

The sunroom was my favourite spot to sit.

I could have sat all day watching the beach and the tide travel in and out.

Can I please just take every room and transform my house into a look-a-alike?

If you get a bit of sunshine there's also the perfect patio to relax on. All you need to do is sink into the big couch cushions with a glass of fizz and relax. With the outdoor space this house really does have everything. It's a beautiful space for an afternoon of chatting in the sunshine, enjoying a glass of something cold or even enjoying an al fresco dinner on a balmy evening.

The final thing that makes this place so heavenly is the location.

The house is literally a stones throw from the beach. All you need to do is trot out of the gate, turn the corner and start paddling in the waves. You are pretty much sleeping on the sand. The views are stunning with the cliffs dominating the scene. You couldn't ask for a better spot for a weekend getaway, there's just something so amazing about being by the seaside.

I've found a little slice of paradise and I can't wait to go back to Burnsyde Beach House!

Stay tuned for Burnsyde part 2 where you can see what we got up to on the weekend!
